If you are trying to log in to the Report Center but are receiving an error message or reaching an unexpected page, the following may help you:
Check if the login URL is correct
We've recently released a new version of our Report Center and you may be using our previous login page. You can try the new Report Center login in case you aren't able to log in with your current URL. For MS Teams users, the login will only work through this new URL.
Do you have more than one Slack or Teams account?
NikaTime login works with your Slack or Teams credentials. If you are logged in with an account whose workspace or team doesn't include NikaTime, you may receive an error message asking you to add NikaTime, or informing you that you have no permission to install NikaTime.
If you are able to log in but the information on the Report Center is incorrect, you may be logged in to an account whose workspace or team has NikaTime, but the account is different from the one you intended to log in with.
In either case, you can sign out and log in again, making sure to select the correct account.
Has your account or workspace been deleted in Slack or Teams?
Since NikaTime login works with your Slack or Teams credentials, once an account is deleted, it is no longer possible to log in to the Report Center. You can get in touch with us through live chat or email in case you need to access or change your information.
Do you have both Slack and Teams accounts?
NikaTime works either within a Slack workspace or an MS Teams team. This means that, although you are able to log in to the Report Center with both Slack and Teams, the information logged through your Slack account will only be available in your Slack login, and the information logged through Teams will only be available through your Teams login.
To access the correct Report Center, you can sign out and log in again, making sure to select the correct account.
Does your Slack workspace allow using Slack's credentials to log in to apps?
Slack has changed its app configuration settings and this has been causing some issues logging in to the Report Center.
By default, members can no longer sign up for or sign in to other services with their Slack accounts.
If they'd like, Workspace Owners can grant members this permission by doing the following:
From the Slack app, click your workspace name in the top left
Select Settings & Administration from the menu, then click Manage Apps to open the Slack App Directory.
Click App Management Settings in the left column.
If app approval is enabled. Then, check the box next to Turn off Sign in with Slack approvals.
Did you add NikaTime to a team on MS Teams, or did you click the Add button?
If you added NikaTime on MS Teams and aren't able to log in to the Report Center using your Microsoft account, it may be because NikaTime was added to your personal scope instead of a team. You can follow these steps to make sure NikaTime is correctly set up on Teams.
If none of the above fixes the problem, get in touch with us through live chat or email.
